“No matter what, I will always love my daughter…” Princess Beatrice began her 37th birthday celebration by unveiling the first public photo of her newborn. Defying months of swirling rumors, she cast a shy glance at the watchful, judging eyes around her: “My daughter turns out to be…” — and the rest left the crowd gasping.

arah Ferguson celebrated her firstborn’s birthday with a joyful video of the two of them. King Charles’ former sister-in-law took to her social media accounts on Aug. 8 to share a clip of herself and her daughter Princess Beatrice having a laugh. Alongside the video, set to Ellie Goulding’s cover of “Your Song,” Sarah penned, “Happy Birthday my darling Beatrice.There’s nothing quite like holding you in my arms and feeling the incredible bond we’ve shared since the day you were born.”

“You continue to inspire me every single day with your strength, your kindness, and the beautiful way you love and care for your family.Moments like this will never get old and I cherish them more than words can say,” she continued. “The hugs, the laughter, the quiet understanding between us. You make me so proud to be your mum, and I feel endlessly grateful for the woman you’ve become.”

Beatrice turned 37 on Friday. She is Sarah and Prince Andrew’s elder daughter. The Princess, who is currently ninth in line to the throne, was born in 1988. Beatrice married her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in 2020. Together they share two daughters, Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi, who turns 4 next month, and Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi. Edo also has a son named Christopher “Wolfie” Woolf from a previous relationship.

The dad of three commemorated his wife’s special day on Aug. 8 with a message on Instagram from him and his children. “Happy Birthday to my BEAUTIFUL wife. You are the greatest. We love you so much. E,W,S,A xxxx,” Edo lovingly captioned a photo of Beatrice from Royal Ascot 2023.

Friday marked Beatrice’s first birthday since welcoming her second child. The couple’s daughter Athena was born prematurely in January.

“Athena arrived healthy, a few weeks before her due date. She was so tiny it took more than a few weeks for the tears of relief to dry and for life with our healthy baby to feel real. Her feet were so small – almost the same size as the paws on one of my older daughter’s soft bunnies,” the Princess later shared in a personal essay for Vogue. Following Athena’s birth, Edo wrote on Instagram, “We are all (including Wolfie and Sienna) already completely besotted with her.”
