Young members of the British Royal Family all have their own talents. Prince William once revealed that his youngest son, Prince Louis (6), is learning to play the drums. Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte not only loves ballet like her late grandmother, Princess Diana, but she also inherited a special talent from her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

Royal author Phil Dampier told Hello!: “I understand that Princess Charlotte has also inherited the late Queen’s ability to imitate famous people very well. This will come in handy at Christmas when the Royal Family gathers at Sandringham to play charades. Queen Elizabeth used to make the family laugh with her transformations into world famous people.”

Not only that, broadcaster Gyles Brandreth once shared on Hello!’s A Right Royal Podcast that the late Queen  could imitate regional accents from all over the UK” . Besides her talent for imitation, Princess Charlotte is also passionate about dancing. Mr. Phil said that the Princess “was very excited when her mother took her to the Strictly Come Dancing studio and watched Swan Lake at the London Coliseum in 2023” .

It has been a difficult year for the Royal Family, with both the King and Princess of Wales battling cancer. During this time, little Princess Charlotte showed her mother’s care and protection by accompanying Princess Kate at Trooping the Colour and Wimbledon over the summer.

Phil added: “I understand that although the Princess of Wales has been looking after her children during her cancer treatment and reassuring them that she is recovering well, Charlotte has been a great source of strength for her mother. Winston Churchill once said of the late Queen Elizabeth when she was a child that he had never seen such maturity in a young person, and Charlotte seems to have inherited that trait from her great-grandmother, whom she bears an uncanny resemblance to. Charlotte cheers up her mother when she needs it most and looks after her and her brothers. She has an uncanny ability to say the right thing at the right time .  “

With this precious quality, Phil commented: “Charlotte seems to have an inner strength, which will one day become invaluable when she is third in line to the throne .” Princess Charlotte, who will turn 10 next May, is said to be a popular student at Lambrook School in Berkshire (England).
