Biden would be so focused on the teleprompter that he likely wouldn’t even notice any individual in the crowd with a medical issue. In contrast, Trump is so dialed in that he immediately notices this woman needs help. Once he saw that, he immediately stopped his rally to prioritize her above anything else.

It should also be noted that in helping this woman, Trump stepped out from behind the see-through protective barrier that had been put in place for this rally by the Secret Service. This was Trump’s first outdoor rally since the assassination attempt that he was targeted by at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last month. The Secret Service had urged Trump not to hold outdoor rallies anymore, but he refused. As a compromise, they set up this bulletproof glass barrier for him to speak behind for his own protection.

The fact that Trump was able to step away from this barrier without hesitation shows just what a strong person he is. It would be completely understandable if he was only worried about protecting himself during this rally. Instead, Trump operated with no fear and stepped up to help this woman just as he always would have. Trump is simply not somebody who lets fear dictate his actions, so stepping out from the protection of this barrier just to help another person was the natural thing to do for him.
