The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left Britain for the USA in 2020, a move popularly known as “Megxit,” distancing themselves from their royal roles, which has only widened the gap between Harry and his family in recent months.
Nonetheless, there have been long-standing rumors of Harry’s desire for a partial return to the UK. He misses his friends and believes that repairing relations with his family might be more attainable if they were in Britain. Despite his frosty relationship with his relatives, Harry remains eager for his family to split their time between the UK and the US, even though his father, King Charles, evicted him and Meghan from their previous residence.
This desire for a return to the UK has led to tensions between Harry and Meghan, who prefers a permanent stay in the US, according to an insider cited in Okay magazine. A division exists between the couple on this issue, but Harry is preparing to begin searching for a property near London. He won’t seek his father King Charles’s help in obtaining a property on the Royal Estate, as he anticipates refusal, especially in light of the previous issues related to Frogmore Cottage.

It’s also believed that the Duke was denied royal accommodation during his recent trip to London for the WellChild Awards last month. In most other aspects, Charles seems to be going against Harry’s wishes. Despite Harry’s efforts in the press to be granted the title of Duke of Edinburgh, this did not come to pass.
