Former President Donald Trump revealed that he experienced a near-death situation while flying in a helicopter with Willie Brown, the former San Francisco mayor and ex-boyfriend of Vice President Kamala Harris. Trump disclosed this information during a press conference on Thursday.
Trump recounted that he had not seen Brown in years but described their relationship as being relatively close. According to Trump, they were once on a helicopter together when an emergency landing occurred. Trump stated, “We thought maybe this was the end. This was not a pleasant landing.”

Donald Trump also commented on Kamala Harris’ relationship with Brown. Harris was 29 at the time she dated Brown who was 60. “Well, I know Willie Brown very well,” the former president said. “He told me terrible things about [Kamala]. He had a big part in what happened with Kamala… He was not a fan of hers very much at that point,” Trump continued.
Harris had a long relationship with Willie Brown, who was the Speaker of the California State Assembly from 1980 to 1995 and the Mayor of San Francisco from 1996 to 2004. Harris dated Brown, who was around thirty years Harris’s senior, from 1994 to 1995.
Regarding his relationship with Harris, Brown had stated a number of things. The now-over-90-year-old Brown said that he gave Harris a BMW, that they went to the Academy Awards together, and that they did so in an interview with journalist Dan Morain. In the 1990s, Brown further asserted, he had introduced Harris to Trump.
Brown claimed to have a picture of Harris and Trump together aboard Trump’s aircraft, during an interview with Politico. He said that Trump had flown Brown’s entourage to Teterboro, New Jersey, on his private plane, while Brown was giving a speech at Harvard University. Brown claimed to have a picture of Harris and Trump together on the plane, despite the fact that Harris was not there at this meeting.
Since Harris received a nomination as the Democratic nominee for the 2024 US presidential election, Brown’s remarks have gained prominence.
