In a striking moment caught on camera, Queen Camilla reprimanded Princess Charlotte, Kate Middleton’s daughter. Subsequently, the queen issued a sharp, two-word directive to the Princess of Wales, urging better management of her daughter.

According to lip-reading expert Jeremy Freeman, the incident occurred during a significant royal event. Specifically, Princess Charlotte and Prince George were present at Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral on September 19, 2022.

The royal siblings Princess Charlotte, alongside her brother Prince George, attended the event with their parents. Express.co.uk detailed in a July 5, 2024 article that the young royals stood behind King Charles III and other members of the royal family. Freeman noted that Prince George appeared to be trying to pinch his sister, Princess Charlotte, who was standing in front of him.


At nine years old, Princess Charlotte expressed discomfort with a slight cry and turned to confront her brother after exclaiming “ow!” She did this in front of the cameras and notably in the presence of Queen Camilla, who seemingly did not approve.
