Exact date Prince William and Princess Kate will be moving to their new

Prince William and Princess Kate will be moving to their new “forever home,” Forest Lodge, earlier than they had originally planned, reports have claimed

. The Prince and Princess of Wales were said to have originally wanted to move from Adelaide Cottage in Windsor to their new Berkshire home by Christmas.

But new reports claim that renovation works have been nonstop, with builders working “flat-out,” so the moving date has been brought forward, and it’s only weeks away. William and Kate’s move is reportedly imminent, with the family expected to be in Forest Lodge by Bonfire Night, November 5.

The eight-bedroom Georgian mansion and its 150-acre perimeter have been cordoned off to ensure the family’s security and privacy.

A source told the Daily Mail: “It is hoped they will be in the new home in time for Bonfire Night. That will make a fun start for the children.”

The royal couple’s move alongside their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, comes after a difficult period in Windsor, which saw the passing of Queen Elizabeth and the King and Kate being diagnosed with cancer.

The source added: “Adelaide Cottage really does have some difficult memories associated with it, sadly.

“They have experienced some of their most challenging times there. The family are really happy about this [move] and excited for a fresh start.”

Another one added: “The builders have been working flat out, week-in, week-out, so that the family could move in as soon as possible.

“Christmas was always the deadline but it’s great that it’s going to happen much earlier.”
