Prince Harry has accused the British royal family of being willing to lie to protect his brother, Prince William, according to a newly released trailer for the remaining episodes of the Netflix documentary series Harry & Meghan, which premiered on December 12.

The main focus of the first three episodes — released the previous week — was how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle dealt with the British tabloid press and how that media pressure impacted their relationship.
The royal family had reportedly braced itself for criticism after the couple’s sharp attacks on certain members, including Harry’s father, King Charles, and his brother, the heir apparent, Prince William. The tension recalls last year’s explosive interview with American talk show host Oprah Winfrey.

Buckingham Palace has stated it will not comment on the documentary. Netflix confirmed that royal family members declined to participate, though a royal source told the press that neither the palace nor representatives of Prince William or other family members had been granted early access to view the series.
While the initial episodes did not contain major scandalous revelations, the newly released trailer — shared by Netflix on Twitter ahead of the final three episodes premiering on December 15 — promises far more tension.

In one of the most striking moments, Prince Harry says, “They were happy to lie to protect my brother, but they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us.”
Meghan Markle adds chillingly, “I wasn’t being thrown to the wolves — I was being fed to them.”
