A devastating health update has emerged regarding King Charles’ ongoing battle with cancer, some 18 months after his diagnosis was first published.
The British monarch’s health woes were revealed last February, with Charles breaking the mould of virtually all senior royals before him in making the public aware that he had cancer.
The ins-and-outs of his diagnosis remain a closely guarded secret, and it’s unlikely we’ll be told exactly what type of cancer Charles has – or what stage it’s at – anytime soon, if at all.
Similarly, updates from Buckingham Palace have come few and far between. The fact Charles has been as transparent as he has is a breath of fresh air from an otherwise notoriously tight-lipped institution, but anyone hoping for a regular feed of information from official sources is simply living in disillusion.
With that said, there are updates to be found if one is prepared to deal in rumor, speculation, and the comments made by individuals claiming to be close to the source.

Charles condition has appeared to have stabilized over the past few months, though there’s been no official word on whether or not his prognosis has improved or worsened.
Without any idea of exactly what cancer the monarch has, and only vague reports suggesting that it was caught at an early stage, it’s certainly difficult to call upon experts to draw any sort of weighted conclusion.
Charles, 76, spent the initial months following his diagnosis focusing on his recovery, and it was a long time before he was deemed fit to return to anything resembling usual protocol in so far as events and royal outings are concerned.
That said, the king has been putting his best foot forward of late, embarking on state visits to both Australia and Italy and resuming most, if not all of his regular duties. His completion of the aforementioned tours without any alarm bells sounding off may have perhaps lulled fans into hoping beyond hope that he, like Kate Middleton, might win his battle with cancer after all.

“The talk now is that he may die ‘with’ cancer, but not ‘of’ cancer following a rigorous treatment program,” Tominey told The Telegraph.
