The footage, shared on Instagram, showed Meghan engaging in playful interactions with their daughter, Lilibet. She was seen holding Lilibet on the pavement and waving to floats passing by during a parade. Both Meghan and Lilibet held and waved flags while crouching down to enjoy the spectacle.
Rosewood Miramar Beach, a luxurious five-star hotel, is owned by businessman Rick Caruso, who had previously met the couple in May 2020 to discuss charity work and their future plans. According to The Times, Meghan and Harry have since dined at this exclusive hotel. Interestingly, Megan’s ex-husband, Trevor, also held his wedding at the same venue in 2019.
The shared video clip by the hotel, which boasts a significant following of 93,000 on Instagram, featured a parade with a car driving along the road as occupants waved to the spectators. The video then showcased the hotel’s barbecue and offerings for the Independence Day celebration. Additional clips revealed the beautiful beach and a giant sign displaying “USA” adorned with balloons.
In another now-deleted clip, it was reported that Meghan and Harry had an argument. Allegedly, Meghan insisted on organizing the family appearance at the same venue where Trevor’s wedding had taken place. It’s worth noting that Meghan still wears a Cartier bracelet given to her by Trevor in 2019.
The coincidence of the location raises questions about why, despite other options such as Soho House Malibu, Meghan encouraged Harry to choose Rosewood.
