Meghan Markle appeared to “ignore” Prince Harry when the pair arrived in New York on Wednesday as the Duchess prepared to give a keynote speech at the TIME100 Summit. Arriving with a four-car motorcade, the pair were pictured at Lincoln Centre in New York City for the annual event.

During her speech, Meghan opened up about several topics, including how she puts up “boundaries” to boost her mental health, as well as her hopes for her two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. While Meghan seemed to lead the way on the night, body language expert Judi James unpicked the arrival and explained that Harry reverted into ‘spare’ mode, displaying several gestures of “anxiety” as he followed his wife into the venue.

Speaking exclusively to The Express, Judi explained: “Harry appears to be in ‘spare’ mode here, scurrying round like his wife’s security as she sweeps into the venue like the total star.”

Judi continued: “The way Harry rushes round the side of the car to join his wife as she is climbing out suggests he sees their arrival as something of a double act. His expression looks focused and serious as he pulls at the sides of his jacket in a gesture of anxiety.

“Meghan ignores her husband though, despite the fact that his hand is raised to touch her.

“The ignore seems to leave Harry in a small body language quandary. His eyes drop and he decides to fiddle with the back of his pants to avoid being left hanging.
