Katie Price has undergone a facelift just months after her last operation and now the former glamour model has shown off the results of her latest surgery with a very honest snap.

Katie Price has unveiled the aftermath of her latest surgical procedure, pictured in bed swathed in bandages. The 46-year-old former glamour model underwent another facelift, less than a year after her £10,000 operation, at a clinic in Istanbul.

It’s alleged that she’s had 17 breast augmentations and six facelifts, among other surgical alterations to her body over the years. Katie announced to her fans that she was going under the knife again as she travelled to Turkey on Friday.

The mother-of-five shared: “From my last surgery, there are just a few little bits that I want tweaking. Well, they need tweaking. So here I am getting ready. That’s the worst bit for me, the needle. The needle’s done so now I can relax.”

Katie captured the harsh reality of the procedure with a selfie from her hospital bed. Her cheeks and forehead were wrapped in bandages, and it seemed Katie could barely open her eyes.

Her recovery will be aided by the presence of boyfriend JJ Slater, who visited Katie in the hospital. Katie has yet to disclose exactly what ‘tweakments’ she has undergone, but reports suggest she wanted to correct her ‘pixie ears’, reports the Mirror.

A source told Closer Magazine: “Katie is heading to Turkey [this month] for her first New Year’s procedure: fixing her pixie ears. She thinks they need correcting after her recent facelift. She’s having her ears removed, then re-stitched in place and pinned back so that they don’t stick out.”

A source has spilled the beans on Katie’s pals’ worries about her “obsession” with going under the knife, saying: “Friends think Katie has gone too far. They feel like she’s obsessed and loves the attention – and the money from the pictures – that the surgery brings in.”

Katie herself has been open about her surgery addiction, comparing it to a shopping spree. Speaking on the How To Fail With Elizabeth Day podcast last year, she revealed: “People don’t realise when you have surgery and stuff, you only see before and after, you don’t see in between – when you’ve had it, the pain and the cleaning, the stitches out and the bed rests. So I would love to educate people about it. It’s damaging to your body. I’ve had so many anaesthetics. I know I still choose to do it, but I’m older now.”
