The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton and Prince William have three adorable kids – but one is destined for a very special future.
Prince George, who is now 12 years old, is currently second in line to the throne – and one royal expert previously revealed that Kate has developed a clever way of teaching her eldest about his future role.
Kate and William are keen to give their kids – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – as normal an upbringing as possible, it has been claimed. However, there’s no getting away from the fact that one day Prince George will become king.

‘Prince George is beginning to understand his destiny’ as future king
Royal expert Duncan Larcombe told OK! how Kate was helping her son to understand his future.
He claimed: “George is only just beginning to understand his destiny, but Kate has got the journey planned.”
And it all comes down to his attire on official engagements, like Wimbledon in July, or his appearance during other important events, such as VE Day.
Prince William was reportedly keen for his son to wear an England shirt when he attended the Euros final in 2021. However, it was Kate who is said to have insisted George wore a more formal look.
Duncan said: “She was showing George that being ‘on duty’ requires a different approach. He has to learn to don the royal armour.”
As we saw back then – and again this year as he enjoyed himself at Wimbledon – there is time for some fun and games for George.
The expert added: “George was encouraged to leap up and celebrate England scoring, to roar and wave and hug his mum and dad like any normal lad.”
A royal source has previously admitted that George “knows there’s something special about him”.
It’s also been claimed that he knows “one day” he’ll be the future king of the United Kingdom.
Fans concerned over his attire
Prince George sparked concern earlier this month while he was out at Wimbledon with his family. The youngster joined his parents and sister Princess Charlotte to watch the Men’s Singles Final in the Royal Box.
Due to the scorching temperatures so far this summer, fans were worried about the youngster trying to keep cool in the hot sun.
Prince William and his son George wore suits as they soaked up the intense rays.
However, they were following the fashion etiquette bestowed upon those who want to sit in the Royal Box – the dress code. Under these rules men have to dress smart, and wear “suits/jacket and tie,” etc.
Although viewers felt it shouldn’t have to apply to the young royal.
One user wrote on X (Twitter): “They should have let Prince George dress much more casually today.
“It’s boiling hot here and they’ve got him trussed up like he’s attending a state affair! Free Prince George from that suit!”
Another added: “Prince George getting roasted alive in his suit and tie #Wimbledon.”
